We took a road trip home, from France to Sweden, and on our way we stopped in Omaha Beach.
Thousands and thousands of graves facing the sea.
I felt really small, and without a cause.

well for me it was to go to Mont St Michel with my Diamond.

I'm home !

Dans les rues de Paris...

Last Sunday i took a plane to Paris with my Diamond.

We arrived at the gate 2 hours before, and waited waited waited...

4mn before the plane left, i don't know why, i stood up and went to see if the screen still indicated "Paris Charles de Gaule".

It didn't. 4mn before it left. it said "Amsterdam".

We had to run from gate 32 to gate 9 in 4mn. Never ran so fast in my whole life.

When we got there, sweaty, exhausted, in panic, the gate was closed.

My Diamond used his usual people skills, and in 2sec, the smiling lady was opening it again. The preasure releasing itself, I bursted into tears while just entering the already full plane. And caught in a huge asthma attack I glanced at a guy who was staring at me with a stupid face. So i just stared back and showed him my best "what do you want ?" face. and it's only when i passed him i realised it was Mika (the singer). haha i can't stand his music anyway :)

We landed in a hot hot hot, oh my lord hot, Paris.

37°C with no air what so ever. (My diamond staid at his friends' place).

First i visited my Friend Christine, she had a mini birthday party on her balcony and the vue from her flat is a total cinema décor. (et juste en face Nicolas Rey qui fricote avec une fille derrière sa pile de vetements fraichement rapportés du pressing)

Around 2am we all went for a walk in Montmartre streets. How magic.

The next day I went to Camille's place, who has the most messy/crowded flat. I had as usual, the nicest time.

Midsommar

This year i celebrated Midsommar with my boyfriend and his friends,
having a very traditional swedish meal, sitting on a big rock, at sunset, facing the archipelago.
and if you forget about the meatballs, potatoes, sill, and gräddfil.. you can actually have a good time :)

Birthday Girl + Dream Boyfriend

= a weekend in heaven !




This saturday, it was my birthday.
I knew my boyfriend had planned something for a month.
I asked and asked and asked "le cadeau ! le cadeau ! le cadeau !"
but he didn't tell me what it was before saturday at noon !
And i must say it was worth waiting !! it was a weekend at a Japanese Spa away in the archipelago !!

we wore kimonos, ate fresh fruits, slept in a japanese room, had the best dinner ever,


we swam,


the best part was the very hot bath outdoors, such a cocoon for your body, and so fresh for your face and lungs !


I felt so happy and so spoiled, i almost forgot i turned 27 ! ( 27 ! äkligt ! )

This Year..

Christmas was different from all the past years.. it was the first time ever that i didn't spend it in France.
Instead my parents came to Sweden ! So much snow here, a perfect Christmas décor.

Of course i had brought my Polaroid Colorpack :)

Let it Shine

In the obscurity, (the sun sets at 3pm) it's hard to keep my mood happy..

I wish i'd feel like this v v v gloomy gloomy gloomy but i mostly feel like this v v v

I'm usually not a candle person..

but i must admit these days, i light dozens of candles every night..
it might be because of all the sad events that happend..
or maybe because i am sick as a dog,with fever and asthma, 2 days before i have to fly to France, to my brother's wedding ?!
(and so i'm missing my new swedish class, and i force myself to go to work..)

but i am not complaining, i am very positive, and try everything i can, with my best auto medication talent my mom gave me ;)
(liters of green tea, apple juice, vitamin C, magnesium, lavender essencial oil.. )

Forever is a long long time..

i miss my boyfriend !!!
