I WISH I PAINTED THAT - YEAH BUT YOU DIDN'T: João Incerti

Today I'm adding a new category to my blog:
"I wish I painted that - Yeah but you didn't", where I will be showcasing artworks from other artists that resonate so much with me, either visually or emotionally, that I wish I had painted them myself.

Today it's the work of self-taught Brazilian artist João Incerti.

You can see more of João Incerti's art and buy prints HERE

Feels Familiar? {Part 6}

“Start copying what you love. Copy copy copy copy. At the end of the copy you will find your self.” - Yohji Yamamoto

Llew Mejia says: "Inspired by one of my favorite textile designers, Josef Frank, a master of color and composition. Of course I don’t even come close but one can try and learn from a master!"
Not that he's not trying to come close! very close..

This has to be an homage since George Hoyningen-Huene was chief of photography at FrenchVogue at some point, but maybe not?
