Goodbye Stockholm

I left Stockholm after 8 years living there.
It wasn't a bitter sweet goodbye like when I left Copenhagen.
This time: no doubt, not even a look back, just a clean cut.

Looking back it was a perfect "postcard city".
If I had to recommend it to someone, I would tell them "Stay a year and leave. Everything you will get from it the following years will very much be a repetition".

I will remember the nice street decorations

When it (rarely) rains..

I had the chance of living not too far from the city center and still see deers right under my balcony like once a month!

Hej då!

Stockholm Guide: Millesgården

This weekend I visited MillesGården. House, studio and garden of the artist and sculptor Carl Milles.
Such a beautiful, peaceful place, I highly recommend the visit, on a sunny fall day.

Instagram

I am now on Instagram! For the first time this year I decided not to travel this summer (well almost) and enjoy Stockholm when it's at its best! So I thought Instagram would be a perfect way to show you my beautiful city of adoption!

Gustavsberg

On saturday I took a walk in Gustavsberg in Stockholm.
It was so cold, and sometimes icy.. But the atmosphere was mystical..

Winter

Here we are. It became much colder and much darker here in Stockholm, and the 3pm sunset is back.
These are photos i took last winter... and even if the winter landscape can be beautiful, i don't really look forward to snow and ice.
So i try to look at it in a artistic/scientific way..
Here are some close up of frost:

Frost images from Here
